IEM L-CARNITINE CAPSULES is intended for controlled dietary supplementation for disorders whose treatment requires the supply of L-Carnitine. Primary carnitine deficiency, secondary carnitine deficiency (fatty acid oxidation disorders, organic aciduria, mitochondrial disorders), part of a ketogenic diet, treatment of epilepsy with valproate in monotherapy or in combination.

It is not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Use only under medical supervision. Not for parenteral use. Keep the product out of the reach of children.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE:
Unchewed capsules should always be washed down with an adequate amount of liquid. For easier intake, e.g. by children, the capsules can be opened and the contents poured into food and drinks.
The recommended amount must be determined by a physician and depends on the age, body weight and metabolic state of the patient. The powder may be mixed with an amino acid mixture, dissolved in water or added to other foods and beverages.
